Introduction

Turf Time ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Information Collection and Use

Data Storage

Turf Time stores all data locally on your device only. We do NOT:

• Collect personal information
• Transmit data to external servers
• Track your usage
• Require account creation
• Use analytics services
• Display advertisements

Local Storage

The app stores the following data on your device:

• Player names and positions
• Match timers and rotation settings
• Game logs and statistics
• User preferences (view mode, timer presets)

This data is stored using your device's local storage (localStorage) and never leaves your device.

Permissions

Required Permissions

• INTERNET: Required for WebView component (no actual network requests made in v1.0)
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: System requirement for WebView
• WAKE_LOCK: Keeps screen on during matches
• VIBRATE: Provides rotation alerts

No Data Transmission

Despite the INTERNET permission, Turf Time v1.0 does not transmit any data over the network. All functionality is entirely offline.

Third-Party Services

Turf Time does not use any third-party services, analytics, or advertising networks.

Children's Privacy

Turf Time does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is designed for coaches and parents to manage team rotations.

Data Security

All data remains on your device and is subject to your device's security settings. We recommend:

• Using device lock screens
• Keeping your device software updated
• Regular backups if desired

Data Deletion

You can delete all app data by:

1. Clearing browser cache/storage within the app
2. Uninstalling the app (removes all local data)
3. Using the "Clear All" button in the Log menu

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
